Photographer David Bunk works from his studio and shop at 523 South Main, which also serves as home base for his Real2Reel studios. Bunk’s work focuses on iconic Memphis scenery, from cotton fields to downtown cityscapes. Bunk’s love for the city is evident in his work.

Started in 2001 as a separate division of Hog Wild, A Moveable Feast offers gourmet food and upscale catering for a wide variety of events. From weddings to Memphis barbeques, A Moveable Feast offers unique, innovative menus as well as recipe recreations to meet the needs of each special occasion. A Moveable Feast seeks to work with each client to create the perfect menu with a fabulous presentation.

At Art for Jobs 2016, produce from Bring It’s regional farmers will be prepared as part of the food provided by A Moveable Feast. Bring It has also provided CSA portions for our Work Life participants this summer, spreading the joy of fresh, local fruits and veggies all OVER Memphis.
Founded in 2013, Bring It Food Hub is a non-profit local foods distributor whose mission is to promote community development in Memphis and the Mid-South by increasing access to healthy, affordable local foods and strengthening farmer livelihoods. Working closely with regional farmers who follow sustainable production practices, Bring It Food Hub sells fruits, vegetables, eggs and value-added products to individuals, congregations, restaurants and institutions in Memphis and offers a variety of ways to get involved with eating local in Memphis.

One of Art for Jobs 2016 artists, Darlene Newman will create an Artist’s Wall and offer individual pieces for sale. Through lively, stylized human forms and bright, expressive colors, her work contains a mixture of humor and positive images, bringing them to life.
Darlene’s work is currently hanging in homes and businesses from California to New York in the U.S. and in Singapore. Her work has recently hung in formal and unconventional galleries in New Orleans and Oklahoma. She has shown at the TN Art Commission’s gallery and has worked on a few community revitalization and public art projects in Memphis. Learn more about her work on her site.
This artist holds a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and the Arts from Dillard University and an MFA in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design. She has illustrated for the Wall Street Journal and other magazines. She has also illustrated two children’s books and has been commissioned for murals in homes and businesses across the tri-state area. She has been listed as one of today’s hottest artists by Visions Fine Art Magazine, a U.S. and Canadian publication. She believes that THE Creator has given her purpose as A creator and strives to fulfill her purpose every day.

J.E. Gillentine is a third-generation Memphian who has had a love for art since the third grade. Her work over the last eight years includes oil paintings, mixed media, and ink paintings. Today she serves clients across the southeastern United States, creating unique commissioned pieces for homes and offices. Her works may be purchased locally at Bingham & Broad.
This is Gillentine’s second year contributing to Art for Jobs and we are grateful that she has agreed to create one of our featured Artist’s Walls. The artist can be seen at right with her husband as they worked in the Advance Memphis Warehouse to hang her art.
Wepfer Marine, a Platinum Sponsor for Art for Jobs this year, is a small harbor and fleeting operation servicing six ports on the Mississippi River operating approximately 20 boats. They also operate a small shipyard in Memphis, providing maintenance and repair to inland towboats and barges and Coast Guard buoy tenders. They employ approximately 150 people on vessels and in shoreside facilities. Their main operations are located down on President’s Island.
