December Prayer Letter
Prayer Requests from our Graduates
Our classes for the year are complete, and we’re so proud of all our graduates! We ask that you lift them up before the throne of grace as they work, save, and walk in the good works that God has called them to (Eph. 2:10).

Prayer Requests for our Community
As the holiday season gets underway, please pray for our South Memphis community and that this Christmas, the Lord’s presence would be felt throughout our city.
Please lift up our neighbors who are struggling with loss this season and that they would feel the Lord’s presence and be comforted in their sorrow. (Psalm 34: 17-18)
Pray for our graduates who are working, that the Lord would cover them with His protection and provision.
Pray that as flu and cold season begins our neighbors stay healthy.
Pray for our neighbors who are struggling with mental illness, that the Lord would bring peace and rest to their minds and hearts.
Prayer Requests from our Staff
This year, we’ve been so blessed through our neighbors, volunteers, and supporters. As we wrap up 2023, we ask that you lift us up before the throne of grace.
As we plan for 2024, pray that the Lord would give our staff wisdom.
Pray for our OTC participants, that the Lord would strengthen their spirit as they seek healing from addiction.
Pray for the church, that we would be unified as one body and demonstrate the love of Christ to a fallen world. (1 Cor. 12:12)
PRAISE: Earlier this month, several of our staff were able to participate in the Trauma Healing Institute, learning best practices to support those who have experienced trauma and working through grief. We’re incredibly grateful to have been able to participate and learn how to love and support those struggling with such a heavy burden.
As Christmas draws closer, we ask that you pray that Emmanuel’s presence would be felt throughout our city and that those who don’t know Christ’s love would come to know and understand his glorious sacrifice. (Micah 5:2-4)
