March Prayer Letter

Prayer Requests for our Community

At the beginning of February, we hosted our annual 12 Hours of Prayer event. The requests below were provided by members of the community who came to our office to pray.

  • Pray that our churches would be unified throughout the city, and that as believers, we would be known for our love.

  • Pray for those struggling with mental illness and distress. (Psalm 34:17-18)

  • Pray for the students and teachers in our city, that the Lord would shelter them under his protection.

  • Pray that we as believers would be more humble and be the hands and feet of Christ.

Prayer Requests from our Students and Graduates

  • Pray that I would attend and finish school.

  • Pray that I can find a good job after graduating.

  • Pray that I'm able to find a reliable car.

  • Pray that I would be able to save and buy a home.

Prayer Requests from our Staff

As we prepare for our next Work Life class, we ask that you lift up our staff as we recruit new students, and continue to pursue relationships with our community.

  • Pray that the Holy Spirit would be present in the Work Life and Faith and Finances classrooms, giving wisdom to both students and instructors. (Phil. 1:9-10)

  • Pray for our OTC (Overcoming Through Christ Addiction Recovery Support group) participants, that the Lord would strengthen their spirit as they seek healing from addiction.

  • PRAISE: On February 12, our Program Coordinator Elena, welcomed her second little boy into the world! Mom and baby are both doing well, and we’re so grateful for this new addition to the family!

  • Pray for one of our staff members who is grieving the loss of her father. Please lift up her and her family as they process this loss, that the Holy Spirit would give them comfort and strength. (Psalm 56:8)

  • Pray for the elderly in our community, whether they’re graduates or parents/grandparents of graduates. Too many aren’t receiving proper care or assistance in dealing with medical issues.
