Advance Memphis Graduates on PBS NewsHour

Two Advance Memphis graduates, Donald Jenkins and Paula Jones, were recently featured in a PBS NewsHour special about what life looks like when you are banked vs. unbanked.

Donald and Paula, along with Executive Director Steve Nash, sat down with PBS Economics correspondent Paul Solman to explain the reasons behind the disparities between the banked and the unbanked, as well as the positive impact that being banked has on individuals and communities like South Memphis.
