Our Impact in 2022

We proudly partner with Slingshot Memphis, an organization that helps nonprofits accelerate their impact through a standardized methodology of measuring poverty-fighting effectiveness.

Each year, they conduct an in-depth study of our organization and the effectiveness of the programs we offer by looking at these four dimensions: Benefit-Cost Ratio, Systems-Level Change, Use of Best Practices, and Measurement Infrastructure. At the the end of the study, they help identify concrete opportunities to increase the effectiveness of the work we are doing. For 2022, they reported that Advance Memphis created between $1.50 - $1.75 in estimated poverty-fighting benefits for each dollar spent.
